Organized for the first time by Boussias Communications and Marketing Week, Venue Awards 2020 honored Greece’s cultural hubs, hotels and alternative venues that offer innovation, creativity, experiences and high-quality services. Civitel Attik won a Gold Award as the “Best Venue for Product Launch” and a Silver Award as the “Best Venue for Team Building Activities”. Furthermore, Civitel Olympic was honored with the Bronze Award as the “Best Venue with Sky View”. The awards ceremony was held at the Foundation of the Hellenic World, in the presence of senior MICE professionals. “This is a significant distinction for the two hotels and the group as it recognizes their 50-year presence in the MICE and hospitality industry, offering excellent services and state-of-the-art facilities,” Civitel Hotels & Resorts said in an announcement. The awards were received by Cesare Fabrizio Piredda, general manager, and Angeliki Ladia, cluster sales manager of Civitel Attik & Civitel Olympic. During the event, they thanked the hotels’ guests, partners and staff, and said that the group would continue to offer top hospitality services. Venue Awards 2020 was held under the auspices of the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) and the Hellenic Association of Professional Congress Organizers (HAPCO). Civitel Hotels & Resorts represents a collection of four individually-designed, distinctive four-star hotels — two in Athens and two on the island of Crete — offering the best of Greek hospitality aligned with international standards.
