Photo Source: @Lufthansa Lufthansa has announced the launch of a new route that will be offering direct flights from Thessaloniki to Munich for winter 2020. The operation of the new route will start on October 27 with three weekly services, carried out every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with a Lufthansa Airbus A320 aircraft. With this addition, the list of available destinations offered by Lufthansa in Greece expands further, serving the majority of popular summer and city break destinations including Athens, Santorini, Heraklion and Corfu. According to Konstantinos Tzevelekos, general manager sales of the Lufthansa Group in Greece and Cyprus, the new route will give Lufthansa passengers excellent connections with its global network. “Greece has always been a high-demand destination and we are excited that we are now able to connect the city of Thessaloniki with our two main hubs, Munich and Frankfurt,” Tzevelekos said.
