Organized annually by Boussias Communications, the event aims to recognize and reward different types of accommodation facilities for their prime services. With a 44-year experience in Athens’ hospitality market, the Radisson Blu Park Hotel was announced winner in the “Conference and Convention Hotel Greece 2020” category. Radisson Blu Park Hotel Athens “Radisson Blu Park has repeatedly been honored for its unique Urban Nature–style conference facilities and highly-trained staff that can support all kinds of events and conferences,” the hotel’s management said in an announcement. The winners of the Greek Hotel of the Year Awards were determined by a 25-member judging committee which consisted of hoteliers, luxury travel specialists, hotel operations experts and journalists representing Greek and foreign media. The event took place recently at the newly established Basil & Eliza Goulandris Foundation in the presence of Deputy Tourism Minister Manos Konsolas, MP and former Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogiannis; Greek Tourism Confederation Secretary General George Vernikos and Marketing Greece CEO Ioanna Dretta among others. During the ceremony, the attendees had the opportunity to tour the museum’s contemporary art collections and taste the unique flavors of TRUE Catering by Radisson Blu Park Hotel, which is a corporate partner of the Basil & Eliza Goulandris Foundation. The Greek Hotel of the Year Awards 2020 was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
