The Crowne Plaza Athens City Center hotel, located near the center of the Greek capital, received two silver honors at the Venue Awards 2020. Organized for the first time by Boussias Communications and Marketing Week, the Venue Awards 2020 recognized and rewarded Greece’s cultural hubs, hotels, alternative venues, multi-venues and private estates for the quality of the services and experiences offered to guests. Crowne Plaza Athens received two silver awards as the Best Hotel for Events and Best Conference Venue. “This double distinction is the result of the hotel’s continuous effort to improve its infrastructure and services,” the management of Crowne Plaza Athens said in an announcement. In 2018, the hotel completed the overhaul of the Ballroom, its largest conference room, and the renovation of its reception areas and corridors. “The awards also highlight the long experience and excellent services offered by the hotel’s team, which reflects the philosophy of Moussamas Bros AXE, owner of the hotel: The passion for perfection.” Venue Awards 2020 was held under the auspices of the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) and the Hellenic Association of Professional Congress Organizers (HAPCO).
