Leading German Tour Operators to Gather in Northern Greece for FVW Workshop 2020

Leading German tour operators in May will gather in Thessaloniki and Halkidiki in northern Greece to participate in the “FVW workshop Greece 2020”, the annual meeting of German trade magazine for tourism and business travel FVW.

Scheduled to take place between May 5-10, the FVW event will be moderated by the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Klaus Hildebrand and will host some of Germany’s leading tourism experts as well as the FVW editorial team.

“The FVW workshop aims to enhance Thessaloniki’s and Halkidiki’s presence in the German market by offering information about the destinations, their tourism infrastructure and the experiences offered to visitors,” an announcement said.

The five-day event will also include tours to Thessaloniki and Halkidiki, and experiential activities, aiming to to bring decision makers, FVW tour operators and retailers closer to the destinations.

The “FVW workshop Greece 2020” will be held with the support of the Central Macedonia Region, the tourism organizations of Halkidiki and Thessaloniki, and the Greek National Tourism Organization among other tourism bodies.
