Organized for the fourth year by Eurobank and Grant Thornton, the event rewards companies that combine high financial performance with a successful history, and contribute to the development of a new entrepreneurial landscape and working culture in Greece. Through its brands, Sani Resort and Ikos Resorts, the group currently operates 10 unique privately owned resorts in Greece (Halkidiki, Corfu, Kos) and Spain (Marbella/Estepona). According to the group, from 2015 until today, Sani/Ikos has invested 500 million euros in the development of the Sani Resort and the creation of the new international brand Ikos Resorts, which aims to redefine the Luxury All Inclusive concept on a global lever. During the same period, the group quadrupled its earnings before taxes and depreciation, increased its average overnight rate by 75 percent, and achieved a seven-month occupancy rate of over 95 percent. Ikos Oceania As of May 2020, the group will employ a total of 4,600 people against 1,800 in 2015, while the number of employees is expected to exceed 9,000 over the next five years, mainly due to the development of new hotel units in Greece and Iberia, and new investments that will exceed 800 million euros. It should also be noted that the group is committed to offer sustainable holiday experiences through its Zero Carbon Footprint program, which aims to reduce energy and water consumption, waste and the use of single-use plastics.
