Royal Caribbean Cruises on Saturday announced the suspension of all the sailings of its fleet globally as of March 15, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

“We will conclude all current sailings as scheduled and assist our guests with their safe return home,” Royal Caribbean said.

Regarding US sailings, the company expects to return to service on April 11. The United States has declared a national emergency over the coronavirus pandemic.

As a result of the suspension, Royal Caribbean aid it would automatically provide customers on the sailings between March 14 to April 10, a 125 percent Future Cruise Credit to sail by December 31, 2021.
