Following the additional measures announced by the Cypriot government to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the country, the airline has decided to cancel all flights from Tuesday 17 March until 30 April 2020 inclusive. All affected passengers will be informed about their cancelled flights via email and will be offered 100 percent refund or the option to change to one of the flights that will commence from 1 May, 2020, onwards at no extra cost. Customers who booked their tickets directly with Cyprus Airways, should contact the company’s call centre for any ticket changes at 8000 8111 (national toll free) or at +357 24000053 (international calls). Customers who booked their tickets through their travel agency should contact their agency for such changes. “Cyprus Airways is monitoring the situation closely and following the instructions of the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) on this important issue,” the airline said.
