According to this week’s board decision, the GNTO will also be suspending for at least one month all fam trips as well as the operation of GNTO info desks at the Acropolis and at Athens International Airport. All meetings have been cancelled and working groups set up to cover basic operational needs. At the same time, following a decision by GNTO Secretary-general Dimitris Fragakis all of the organization’s public areas and work spaces have been sanitized and access to GNTO offices to delivery services and couriers is now off limits. Meanwhile, 16 GNTO offices abroad are providing information about Greece and measures being implemented in response to the coronavirus epidemic. Relevant updates are also available on the GNTO’s site VisitGreece. The aforementioned measures apply to central GNTO offices and departments across Greece depending on size and number of personnel.
