The Kallichoron Art Boutique Hotel, located on the island of Astypalea, has postponed its opening for the season and has introduced a flexible policy for cancellations in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Kallichoron’s announcement follows the Greek government’s decision to temporarily close seasonal hotels and similar accommodation facilities in Greece until April 30, due to the COVID-19 virus. The boutique hotel has launched the “Kallichoron Travel Flex” policy which is applicable to all pre-booked and new reservations with check-in date until June 30, 2020. Furthermore, Kallichoron is offering free cancellation up to seven (7) days before arrival, as well as free rescheduling options where needed. A full refund of any pre-payment will be applied, free of any cancellation costs, in situations where the guests/travelers request it. “For the time being, Astypalea remains (croronavirus) case free and we are liaising closely with the authorities while following the World Health Organization (WHO) for updates to ensure the safety of all partners and guests,” the management of Kallichoron said. The Kallichoron Art Boutique Hotel is located near the main town of Astypalea. Its privileged location offers a breathtaking view of the island’s landscape, including the majestic Venetian castle, the famous old white windmills and the boundless Aegean sea.
