Clio Muse Tours, a smart phone application that works as a liaison between cultural institutions and their visitors, recently launched its “Next Generation Tours”, a series of virtual tours that make it possible for all to remotely visit renowned museums and sites.

The virtual tours consist of award-winning audio tours, a great selection of real images as well as satellite and street views of monuments and their surroundings – all that can be visited right from your couch!

“Clio Muse Virtual Tours becomes available in a time when the need for alternative ways of traveling is more relevant than ever before. Our award-winning content and storytelling methodology meets the power of satellite and street view, taking travelers on  a fascinating journey to the world’s top attractions,” the company’s management said in an announcement.

Launched in 2014, Clio Muse has collaborated with world-class cultural institutions. The company has now taken a step forward and offering an interactive experience through pioneering technology that allows all to explore the world’s fascinating cultural wonders at their own pace and from their own space

Clio Muse’s platform has successfully hosted and curated over 200 tours for exhibitions, city walks and cultural events in Greece, Italy, Austria, Spain, Turkey, the Netherlands and the United States.
