In celebration of Greek Independence Day, celebrated on March 25, Athens International Airport (AIA) lit up in Greece’s blue and white colors.

“Honoring our national memory, this year we are also honoring our national effort, both collective and individual, for the health and protection of all,” AIA said in an announcement, referring to the difficult situation that has occurred due to the Covid-19 virus.

“Take care and dream of the beautiful journeys that are to come!”

It should be noted that AIA has included a special section on its website with useful information regarding travel to/from Athens during the coronavirus pandemic.
