And there’ll be one country I’ll want to visit above all others…” (Excerpt from article by Oliver Smith) Greece is the first holiday destination The Telegraph’s digital travel editor, Oliver Smith, intends to visit when the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis ends. In his article titled “The first country I’ll visit after coronavirus? There’s no contest” and published in the online edition of the British daily newspaper, Smith refers to Greece’s beauties and special features. “What I want is the island’s pristine life, the wonderful food and accommodation, the quiet beaches, the lush green countryside and the ultimate getaway from the stress of modern life,” he says. The Telegraph’s travel editor adds that traveling by sea is among the elements that make Greece an ideal holiday destination. Smith has visited some of Greece’s most popular islands, among them Skiathos, Corfu, Kefallonia, Lefkada, Skopelos, Mykonos and Tinos.
