Photo Source: @TIF-Helexpo Greece’s national exhibition body TIF-Helexpo has offered its Thessaloniki and Athens premises to state authorities, aiming to support the country’s efforts against the further spread of the coronavirus in the country. The company has already offered a space in the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center for the accommodation of homeless citizens, following a request by the Municipality of Thessaloniki. TIF-Helexpo’s premises in Thessaloniki also host two blood donation units of the AHEPA General Hospital and the Theagenio Cancer Hospital. Helexpo Maroussi, Athens Moreover, the body’s Helexpo Center Maroussi in Athens, currently houses three mobile blood donation and healthcare units of the “Smile of the Child” non-governmental organization. TIF-Helexpo said that the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center and Helexpo Maroussi would be available to the Ministry of Health and the General Secretariat for Civil Protection to use them any way they see fit, during the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The company also plans to offer specialized disinfecting equipment to the hospitals of Thessaloniki, Kastoria, Xanthi, Ptolemaida, Alexandroupoli, Ioannina and Larissa.
