Company updates Phāea Resorts: A Message from the co-CEOs by GTP editing team 7 April 2020 written by GTP editing team 7 April 2020 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 12 Dear partners and friends in travel, As we face times of uncertainty, we are writing to you on behalf of everyone at Phāea Resorts and our hotels, Blue Palace, A Luxury Collection Resort and Spa, Cretan Malia Park, Agapi Beach Resort, Village Heights Golf Resort and Koutouloufari Village Holiday Club, to reassure you that our absolute priority is the health and safety of our guests, our teams and our communities. Our hearts go out to those who have been affected by this unprecedented event, and we want to extend our deepest appreciation for those who are on the front line working to contain COVID-19 not only in our community, but throughout the world. We understand these are challenging times for everyone, and it’s with much gratitude that we have your support throughout this period. Following the Greek State’s decision for all hotels to temporarily close, our hotels will maintain their seasonal closures until April 30, 2020. Phāea Resorts fully supports this preventative measure, aimed at ensuring the health of our guests and staff. As we all know, the current global situation is very fluid, and so we will be constantly evaluating the situation and adjusting our decisions accordingly. At Phāea Resorts, we are also constantly monitoring protocols and instructions from the World Health Organization and the Greek State and will comply with all actions and protocols. “We will do our part in staying positive, caring and flexible, while preparing our procedures, resorts, teams and experiences for the next day, when it is time for Phāea Resorts to share a truer, more timeless Greece that is worth celebrating!” This is also a time for reflection for all of us. It may not feel right to even think about travel now, but hopefully we will soon. And until then, a lot of people need us. About 10% of the world and more than 500,000 Greeks work in travel. We need to be kind, show sensitivity and support to everyone involved. At Phāea Resorts, we will be doing our bit. As Greeks, we have philoxenia (hospitality – kindness to a guest) in our DNA. It is time to show this kindness to everyone, guests and associates alike. We will do our part in staying positive, caring and flexible, while preparing our procedures, resorts, teams and experiences for the next day, when it is time for Phāea Resorts to share a truer, more timeless Greece that is worth celebrating! Until then, stay safe!
