At midnight, at the time of the ‘Christos Αnesti’ (Christ is Risen) wish, the sky in seven municipal units of the city will light up with fireworks,” the Municipality of Athens said in an announcement. “So, from our balconies or windows, the residents of Athens – and not only – will be able to all enjoy the Resurrection message, the radiance and the light of optimism for tomorrow.” Athens Mayor Kostas Bakoyannis posted on his facebook page: “At the time of the ‘Christos Αnesti’ wish, let’s all look up! Tonight we illuminate the sky with the municipality’s fireworks. From the balcony, from the window, but with a lot of love. For the holy light. Kali Anastasi! (Happy Resurrection!)” Join the 15,000+ travel executives who read our newsletter Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
