Aiming to show solidarity in the time of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Greek airline Sky Express said it will offer free tickets to the medical personnel of Greece’s Intensive Care Units.

“We follow the instructions of doctors and medical experts, and we stay home with our loved ones. On the other hand, certain professionals work tirelessly and selflessly at the intensive care units of hospitals across the entire country. We owe our warmest “thank you” to these people,” the company said.

“We at Sky Express, as a token of our gratitude, offer free airline tickets to all ICU staff, doctors and nurses, for any destination they choose among our 34 destinations throughout Greece. It is our greatest pleasure and the very least we can do for those who fight to save human lives.”

Sky Express conducts more than 30,000 domestic flights annually, serving 34 destinations in Greece.
