Skoulas A series of restoration projects aimed at upgrading the archaeological site of the Acropolis in Athens are underway with the first phase set to be completed by the end of May, according to Greek Culture Minister Lina Mendoni. Among the works is the installation of a new lift that once in place will enable improved disabled access to the ancient site and popular tourist attraction. The new lift is scheduled to be operational by the end of July, pushed back by the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, said Mendoni. Both the lighting installations and the elevator have been funded by the Onassis Foundation.
