Company updates Costa Navarino: A Message from TEMES Managing Director by GTP editing team 30 April 2020 written by GTP editing team 30 April 2020 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 35 Dear friends, In this extraordinary situation, our thoughts are with everyone affected across the world and we are full of gratitude for all those who are working tirelessly to help us overcome this challenge. For all of us at Costa Navarino, the health and safety of our associates, our guests and everyone at the surrounding local communities, has been an unquestionable priority from the very start. During all this time, we have been actively supporting national and local efforts, as well as ensuring that the lives of our associates and of all the families dependent on our business would be as less affected as possible. Stefanos Theodorides (photo: Andreas Papakonstantinou-Tourette Photography) “This crisis has taught us how deeply we are interdependent and to value the things that really matter. It has shown us that solidarity is found in small and large gestures, and in supporting those who need it most.” We truly believe that all together, we can overcome these unprecedented circumstances and thrive once again, wiser and stronger than before. The other lesson learned from this pandemic is, now more than ever, to commit to sustainable living with a view to the long-term. We should continue to pioneer, invest and commit to sustainability initiatives, as the only way forward. In Greece, due the decisive and early measures that the Government has taken, the spread of the virus has been contained in relatively low levels, and therefore the country is being considered as one of the safest in Europe. As a result, the Greek government announced yesterday the gradual lifting of restrictions as of May 4 onwards, which will allow us to return to a new normality. Although the way we conduct our daily lives may change, our need for knowledge, self-development, authentic experiences and traveling will be even stronger. At Costa Navarino, we are confidently forging ahead with the investment and construction of our two new golf courses and two new luxury hotels. Closing our doors for a while and staying apart has been hard. However, even as the world has hit the pause button, Costa Navarino has been preparing to welcome you once again to beautiful Messinia when travelling is allowed and the time is right, and offer you an upgraded, unforgettable experience. Looking forward to welcoming you back soon, Stefanos Theodorides Managing Director TEMES S.A. – Developers of Costa Navarino Photos: @Costa Navarino Join the 15,000+ travel executives who read our newsletter Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
