Air Travel Mouzenidis Says ‘Thank You’ to Russian, Ukranian Doctors with Free Greek Holidays by GTP editing team 30 April 2020 written by GTP editing team 30 April 2020 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 24 Russian and Ukrainian doctors that are currently on the frontline, fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic, will get free holidays to Greece from Thessaloniki-based Mouzenidis Group. According to an announcement, the group’s companies Mouzenidis Travel, Ellinair and BOMO Hotels will offer free transportation and accommodation in Greece to 50 Russian and 15 Ukrainian doctors and their families, as a “thank you” for their efforts to fight the pandemic. The initiative is supported by the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) and the Association of Tour Operators in Russia (ATOR). ATOR head Maya Lomidze described Mouzenidis Group’s offer as a “kind gesture” and a “duty of tourism”, and urged other travel organizations to follow its example. On his part, the head of GNTO in Russia, Polykarpos Efstathiou, referred to the positive effect that a trip to Greece will have on Russian doctors, as they will have the chance to rest after their long battle with the virus but also exchange views with Greek medical experts. Mouzenidis Group’s interests include carrier Ellinair, Mouzenidis Travel, real estate company Grekodom, medical tourism firm Grekomed, Mouzenidis Intour, BOMO Hotels, CS&R cargo services and EllinYacht renting services, among others.
