In efforts to support Greece’s national plan to curb the coronavirus pandemic, Metaxa Hospitality Group announced the donation of 30,000 euros to the referral laboratory for Covid-19 testing of the University of Crete.

The Laboratory of Clinical Virology of the university’s medical school is expected to conduct a large number of molecular tests for Covid-19 throughout the region of Crete. These tests are considered significant for the protection of public health and the government’s efforts to restart the local economy.

The Metaxa Hospitality Group also recently donated 10 tablet devices to the Elementary School of Kelessoi, in the Municipality of Malevizi, to cover the needs of students during their online classes.
