AthensWas Hotel Welcomes its Guests to the Greek Capital

AthensWas, a luxury design hotel located in a prime location near Athens‘ landmark sites, reopened its doors on June 1 and is welcoming visitors to the Greek capital.

A member of the Anemi Hotels, AthensWas has implemented the health protocols announced by the Tourism Ministry and Greece’s National Public Health Organization (EODY). As underlined in an announcement, the hotel has redesigned its strategy aiming to protect its visitors and host them in a peaceful and safe environment.

A special COVID-19 section is available on the AthensWas website, where visitors can find out all they need to know about the hotel’s new policy regarding the increased hygiene measures, changes in the opening hours of public areas, check-in and check-out procedures.

AthensWas’ opening also includes the daily operation of its dining areas. “Promenade”, the hotel’s outdoor facility on Dionysiou Areopagitou street, as well as the patio, are now operating from 9am to 7pm, offering a variety of drinks, selected wines, snacks and comfort food.

Meanwhile, the hotel’s Sense Restaurant on the 7th floor is open from 6.30pm to 12 midnight offering signature cocktails and sparkling wines. The restaurant’s kitchen operates from 7pm to 11.30pm and serves the renewed culinary suggestions of chef Alexandros Charalampopoulos – dishes that highlight the traditional recipes of Greece. Senses’ rooftop facilities also offer a magnificent view of the Parthenon and the Lycabettus hill.

“After a long waiting period, AthensWas’ employees return with a sense of responsibility and promise to provide visitors with a rich – and most of all – safe experience,” the hotel’s management said.
