According to a company announcement, the hotel has complied with the guidelines and directives of the World Health Organization and the Greek government, for the decontamination and sanitation of all its rooms and public spaces in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Civitel Creta Beach has adopted adequate hygiene protocols, safety methods and operation procedures that respect social distancing rules and guarantee a safe hospitality experience for all guests. “We have always looked to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both our guests and employees, and now, more than ever, we are determined to protect them and their beloved ones to the highest extent,” the hotel’s general manager, George Perakis said. Civitel Creta Beach features spacious rooms and stone bungalows just a few meters away from the shore, with completely renovated interiors, first-class amenities and an ambiance that matches the seaside experience. According to Perakis, guests at Civitel Creta Beach have always enjoyed ample space, privacy and serenity within a secluded environment that is never overcrowded. The hotel offers a wide range of sports activities in its premises, from tennis and mini-golf to beach volley and ping pong; many food and beverage options including the main buffet-style restaurant, the poolside snack bar and the indoor/outdoor lounge bar. The hotel is set in an exotic, lush garden with palm trees, lying next to the long sandy beach of Ammoudara a few minutes away by car from the city of Heraklion, Crete.
