Air Travel Scoot Suspends Athens-Singapore Route Until End of March 2021 by GTP editing team 9 June 2020 written by GTP editing team 9 June 2020 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 7 Scoot, the low-cost arm of the Singapore Airlines Group, will temporarily suspend its Athens-Singapore and Berlin-Singapore routes until end-March 2021, due to weak demand arising from Covid-19. The airline has announced that customers with existing affected bookings are being notified progressively, and will have two options to claim a refund on the unused portion of their itinerary: either a 100 percent refund via original method of payment, or 120 percent refund in Scoot vouchers, valid for 12 months. Scoot is currently operating to six destinations in June 2020, which are Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Ipoh, Kuching, Penang and Perth. Additional precautions Aiming to safeguard the health of customers and crew, Scoot has further enhanced its operational procedures and safety measures, taken as precautions against the coronavirus.
