Prominent gastronomy tourism professionals from Greece and Cyprus will meet online during the FoodTreX Greece & Cyprus Food Travel Summit, which is scheduled to take place during June 24-25.

The event will focus on the connection between gastronomy and tourism in Greece and Cyprus, and the ways tourism enterprises can ensure their operation in the next twelve months, following the effects of the global Covid-19 crisis.

The two-day online summit will include discussions on the tourism gastronomy experience with the participation of speakers from the global scientific community. Erik Wolf, the executive director of the World Food Travel Association (WTFA), will be a keynote speaker of the event.

The official languages of FoodTreX Greece & Cyprus will be English and Greek.

The virtual event is supported by the tourism ministries of Greece and Cyprus.

FoodTreX Greece & Cyprus is organized by Respond On Demand and Top Tourism in collaboration with the WFTA, one of the word’s largest gastronomy tourism organizations with over 30,000 members including opinion leaders and entrepreneurs.

The founding members of Respond On Demand and Top Tourism, Maria Athanasopoulou and Chryssa Krassa, are certified WFTA ambassadors for Greece and Cyprus while Athanasopoulou currently serves as president of the Board of Directors of WFTA
