During the two-month COVID-19 lockdown period, the group’s management decided to refresh its brand identity to better represent Katikies’ most authentic values, highlight its intrinsic passions and celebrate its ideals. Katikies also launched a new website. “We invite you to explore our new brand identity and rediscover everything that makes Katikies unique. Change is an essential part of life. May we all grow and change together,” the group’s management said in an announcement. Katikies currently operates a total of seven properties: five on Santorini (Katikies Santorini, Katikies Villa Santorini, Katikies Kirini, Katikies Chromata, Katikies Garden) and two on Mykonos (Katikies Mykonos and Katikies Villa Mykonos). According to management, each property is operated by a well-organized team with genuine passion for its work. “Now that the right time has come, we are excited to welcome you with our heart open and ready to carry you away in an intimate oasis of hidden coves,” the group’s management said. Health protocols Katikies has undertaken all the necessary measures and health protocols to ensure a truly safe stay for its guests this summer, as well as an authentic Greek experience in complete serenity and peace of mind. “We closely follow the guidelines and recommendations set by the Greek government, the Hellenic Food Authority – EFET, the World Health Organisation, the Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) and the Leading Quality Assurance standards (LQA). In addition, we guarantee the ecological disinfection of every room and mattress, as provided by Pure Space,” the group said. Katikies is also collaborating with the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) for the GBAC STAR certification in order to implement a performance-based cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention program that focuses on establishing safe and clean environments. The GBAC STAR accreditation program is based on quality management system principles and relies on comprehensive training upholding the highest standards of cleanliness for staff and guests.
