A member of Chandris Group and Design Hotels, The Met Hotel is located close to the city’s port and historic center. The hotel has adopted an especially designed plan for the operation of all its areas under specific guidelines that focus on the health and safety of its guests and staff. “Artistic mood, rare works of art, high aesthetics, anthropocentric philosophy and excellent service are the non-negotiable values that characterize The Met Hotel. The safety of our guests is our top priority,” the hotel’s management said. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic – and before the announcement of mandatory measures – the hotel has undertaken specific measures to ensure the safety of its visitors and employees. Today, it is implemetnting an integrated plan to prevent the spread of the virus, in accordance with the Greek government’s policies and instructions, as well as the guidelines and practices announced by Greece’s National Public Health Organization (EODY), the Hellenic Food Authority (EFET) and the World Health Organization. Furthermore, The Met Hotel will constantly review its policy to include all the updated guidelines and new scientific data, while it will develop new operating protocols, where necessary, in order to address all the issues that may occur and proceed with the training of its staff. “Hygiene and safety have been at the epicenter of hospitality at Chandris Hotels, since the group’s establishment in 1972.
