As explained by Marketing Greece, the phrase Endless Greek Summer has a dual meaning as it looks to establish the concept of ‘the eternal Greek summer’ and also aims to show the long duration of “the feeling” and extend the season. It is noted that “Endless Greek Summer” follows the “Greek Summer is a state of mind” campaign. The new campaign is supported by new content for all Greek tourism companies to use free of charge and promote the “Endless Greek Summer” to both the international and Greek markets. Content for international market The content available to promote the campaign to international travelers includes: a video available for use on social media – facebook, instagram and youtube, a series of stories available to internet users that wish to create their own stories with the “Endless Greek Summer” logo and hashtag, and one of the following themes: “Greek Summer is a state of mind”, “Being with the people you love”, “Feeling free”, “Connecting with nature”, Instagram users can add a swipe up link to their story and use the campaign’s video link https://endlessgreeksummer.gr/ or their business’ website as a landing page, the campaign also offers a number of suggested messages in English, that are available for use on social media: – Something we all need right now. It’s the endless Greek summer and we’re here to share every ray of it with you! – A big welcome to the endless Greek summer and the way it makes us feel. Free to dream at last! – Are you ready to get in a Greek summer state of mind? It’s here and all yours… – A non-stop celebration of love and life! – You’re invited to live the endless Greek summer. Surrounded by the people you love most, connecting with nature, feeling free at last. The hashtags #EndlessGreekSummer and #GreekSummerStateOfMind. Content for domestic market The content available to promote the campaign to Greek travelers includes: a video that encourages domestic travel, a photo gallery of Greek destinations that is constantly updated, suggested social media copy to engage with the Greek audience, specific hashtags – #EndlessGreekSummer, #GreekSummerStateOfMind, #kalokairi2020, #menoumeasfaleis – to accompany all social media posts, and the campaign’s logo. Due to the extraordinary circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the campaign will be constantly adapted to the new conditions with the aim to attract international and domestic travelers to Greece.
