Greek Tourism Minister Harry Theoharis and UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi signed on Thursday a Joint Action Plan (JAP) which among others aims to facilitate travel between the two countries. Key priorities of the scheme include the promotion of both countries, investments, legal framework, air connectivity, international cooperation, the exchange of technical know-how, tourism marketing, and niche tourism development. Greek Tourism Minister Harry Theoharis signed the Joint Action Plan during an online meeting with UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi. “The United Arab Emirates – a steadily rising tourism market – is a model for the modern and creative use of all available resources and development processes. With the Joint Action Plan that we signed today, the existing excellent relations between Greece and the UAE enter a new even more efficient phase,” said Theoharis. The forum follows an official visit to Abu Dhabi by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis earlier this year. Besides the cooperation in tourism the two countries also agreed to work together on promoting joint projects and encouraging private-public partnerships; initiating humanitarian and developmental cooperation for developing countries; exchanging technical know-how and good practices; and promoting bilateral dialogue on digitized public services, AI, “smart” services and digital policy planning/government accelerators. Greek Americans spend the most money in Greece as well. Why is there no communications between our two countries? I have a house in Greece and I need to go do repairs I go every summer for 2 months and My family spends over 10000 euros when we vacation the Islands? Greek Americans that own property should be aloud into the country in August at least? Reply Leave a Comment Cancel Reply Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
