Located on the hotel’s top floor, guests can enjoy a coffee on the impressive terrace in the afternoon and continue with a signature cocktail after sunset. Among Galaxy’s signature cocktails are the Royal Nebula with champagne, vodka and berry and the Galileo’s Telescope, a handmade blend of gin, Campari, Aperol and vermouth, aged in a barrel and flavored with homemade bitters. Galaxy’s cocktail menu also features molecular mixology and sous vide techniques. The Newton’s Lab includes gin distilled in air vacuum with green apple and grapefruit peels while the Dark Celery Margarita is made of tequila flavored with celery, natural lime juice and agave syrup. Furthermore, Galaxy offers cocktails based on Greek products such as the Distant Tears with mastic liqueur, Aperol, vermouth and chocolate bitters; exotic cocktails such as the Curiosity with rum, coconut and passion fruits, as well as non-alcoholic cocktails including the Milkomeda with coconut water, passion fruit puree and lemon foam. Dinner is now served at the bar, with new flavors curated by Hilton Athens Executive Chef Kostas Athanassiou and Galaxy Chef George Kaperdas. Among the dishes served are the octopus with sweet chili and coconut cream, mango and tamarind; salad with prosciutto from Evrytania and melon; scallops with crispy quinoa and pear pickles; beef burger with duck confit and mimolette cheese, and the barley with scorpaena fillet, Kozani red saffron and rosemary. For a sweet end, guests can choose a light sugar-free dessert such as the yuzu cream with white chocolate crumble and basil sorbet. The Galaxy Bar & Restaurant is implementing the advanced health protocols of the Hilton Athens Hotel. Its staff has been properly trained to serve guests in a safe environment.
