The test must be performed in the country of origin and the result must be in English. The travelers’ name and passport number or ID card must be included on the result. The announcement followed a teleconference of government officials chaired by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Monday. The new measure was decided after a spike in confirmed Covid-19 cases was recorded during the past days. Moreover, as of August 16, only 750 people per day will be allowed to cross the Kakavia border station, Greece’s entry point with Albania.
