The hotels of the Metaxa Hospitality Group have been certified by leading international organizations for the safety standards and quality services offered to their guests.

According to an announcement, the five-star Creta Maris Beach Resort, located in Heraklion, Crete, and the Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa on Santorini, were recently certified with TÜV Austria’s “CoVid Shield” seal.

TÜV Austria offers the CoVid-Shield certification scheme to businesses restarting their activity following the Covid-19 lockdown. After thorough inspections, the certification group confirmed that Metaxa group’s hotels meet all the necessary international criteria and have adopted the appropriate procedures to ensure the safety of visitors and employees.

Meanwhile, the group’s five-star TUI Magic Life Candia Maris on Crete, recently received the “POSICheck – Covid 19” certification from Cristal International Standards, an exclusive partner of TUI. This certification classifies the hotel in the “low risk premises”category.

“Amid difficult times, we are doing everything in our power to make everyone feel safe. This is why we have been working with leading international independent companies. The certifications of TÜV Austria and Cristal International Standards confirm the safe, high-quality services we offer,” said the group’s CEO Andreas Metaxas.
