The Xenia 2020 tourism expo has been postponed for 2021 due to the extraordinary circumstances caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the event’s organizer Forum SA recently announced.

One of the largest travel and tourism trade shows in Greece, Xenia 2020 was scheduled to take place during November 27-30 in Athens.

The organizer decided to postpone the event after the increase of coronavirus cases in Greece.

“Due to the continuous increase of Covid-19 cases in the country, the Greek government has decided to temporarily suspend all exhibition activities. This decision is expected to be further extended until the end of 2020,” Forum SA said.

The company said it took the decision in order to protect its exhibitors and visitors from the negative consequences of a last-minute postponement.
