Titania Hotel, Athens

The Titania Hotel, a historic property located near the center of Athens, has received the “Safe Restart” certification by TÜV Hellas (TÜV Nord). “Safe Restart” is a new service that focuses on the evaluation of implementation of the appropriate measures taken to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.

“We pride ourselves for providing our guests with the best services that enhance the hospitality experience in a safe and clean environment,” Titania Hotel Managing Director Georgios Papazoglou said.

The hotel has already taken a series of measures that meet Greece’s “Health First” protocol to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19), and implemented Diversey’s “Well Hotel” program which includes the use of environmentally friendly cleaning products that are effective against the coronavirus as well as other viruses.

Titania has also implemented the health protocols announced by the National Public Health Organization (EODY) and the Tourism Ministry, which increase the cleaning and sanitation of all guest rooms and frequently-touched areas to ensure the safety of visitors and employees.

Titania reopened its doors in August, after remaining closed for several months due to the Covid-19 lockdown in Greece.

The hotel features 385 rooms of all types – standard, family, superior, executive, junior suites and deluxe suites, a conference center with multipurpose rooms and multiple dining options.
