Under the agreement, Ticketseller’s customers can apply for molecular testing (PCR Test) and antibody testing before travel. If their results are negative, customers will be provided with the CoronaPass, a solution that shows that a person will be at lower risk of transmitting the Covid-19 virus during travel. The CoronaPass meets the highest security standards and regulations in the industry, including ISO 27001, HIPPA, and GDPR. According to CrossBorderMedCare, the exclusive medical provider for CoronaPass in Greece, travellers and employees utilizing the solution will be at lower risk of transmitting the COVID-19 virus. CrossBorderMedCare offers molecular and antibody testing to travelers in six Greek destinations, namely Athens, Thessaloniki, Larissa, Crete, Corfu and Kos. “Screening is necessary to prevent the widespread spread of the coronavirus and to have a clear picture of the infected population (with or without symptoms)… By showing the CoronaPass to authorities, safe travel is ensured and especially trips by plane,” TicketSeller CEO Giannis Milatos said. After testing negative for Covid-19, TicketSeller’s customers will receive a CoronaPass QR code that can be stored on mobile devices (similar to downloading a boarding pass) or printed and presented for validation when necessary. “In these unprecedented times, Ticketseller is always by the side of travelers to offer safe holidays without unpleasant surprises or delays through innovative services,” Milatos added. Based in Athens, TicketSeller operates a digital platform that enables travelers to plan all aspects of their trip online, such as attractions, archaeological sites and museums, private medical centers, spa, airlines, ferries, trains, car rentals, sailing and lodging.
