The Lynx Mountain Resort, Florina

The city of Florina in northern Greece has welcomed The Lynx Mountain Resort, a brand new luxury property aiming to offer unique hospitality experiences.

Once part of Greece’s renowned Xenia hotel chain, the property has undergone a complete overhaul and reopened as The Lynx Mountain Resort, looking to attract discerning travelers to western Macedonia.

The five-star hotel consists of 38 luxury modern rooms and suites, all with their own terrace, rainforest shower, Nespresso bar and luxury Jo Malone cosmetics. The Grand Suites feature state-of-the-art double sided fireplaces, a skyline roof and unique bathrooms.

The resort’s design goes beyond the classic stone & wood aesthetic seen on mountainous destinations. Designed by interior design studio Thingk, The Lynx features elegant spaces with nordic-chic aesthetics and references to the history of the building that previously housed the Xenia hotel.

Natural textures and authentic materials blend harmoniously and create a welcoming luxury environment.

The resort also includes the “Six Lakes” restaurant, the “Wellness Hub”, a fully equipped “Technogym” and the “Le Prive” venue, ideal for corporate meetings and events.

For relaxation, guests can enjoy a selection of beverages at the “Veranda”, or seek entertainment at the neighboring The Lynx Casino Florina.

Nestled in nature, The Lynx Mountain Resort offers an impressive view to the Vigla-Pissoderi Ski center and the city of Florina.

The resort is accessible from the airports of Kastoria and Kozani via the Egnatia highway.
