Travelers from Greece will no longer be tested for the coronavirus (Covid-19) upon arrival to Italy, according to a new decree signed by the Italian Minister of Health on Thursday.

The decree also lifts the rule for arrivals from Croatia and Malta.

Passengers from the aforementioned countries are also not obliged to present a negative Covid-19 test upon arrival to Italy.

Further information for travel to Italy from Greece is provided on the website of the Embassy of Italy in Athens.

It is reminded that as of August 12 Italy had ordered all travellers arriving from Croatia, Greece, Malta and Spain to be tested for Covid-19 amid concern over new infections entering the country.
