According to an updated aviation directive (NOTAM), 10,000 permanent residents of Israel are now allowed to enter all airports in Greece per week (up from 5,000). It is reminded that all travelers entering Greece from Israel are obliged to present a negative molecular test result (PCR) for coronavirus (Covid-19), taken at least 72 hours before arrival. All permanent residents of Israel entering Greece will be subject to testing again. The aviation directive will be in force until October 25. For travelers affected by October 19 strike The HCAA also announced that passengers of flights to Greece that have been affected by Monday’s strike of Greek aviation personnel unions, are allowed to enter the country until tomorrow with a negative Covid-19 test taken at least 96 hours before arrival (an extra 24 hours have been added). The exception will be valid until midnight on Tuesday, October 20, and applies only to flight passengers affected by the strike. It is reminded that all passengers of international flights to Greece must fill out a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) before travel. The PLF can be found here.
