Photo Source: @Global NEST Athens, during September 1 – 4, 2021, will host the 17th International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology (CEST2021). Organized by the Global Network of Environmental Science and Technology in collaboration with the University of the Aegean and the University of Athens, CEST2021 will focus on the latest trends in environmental science and technology, as well as on basic fields of research. The sessions are divided in nine thematic areas as follows: • Water and wastewater treatment and reuse, • Hydrology and water resources, • Waste management, • Environmental management and policies, • Environmental pollution, • Ecology and ecosystem management, • Analysis of environmental systems, • Environmental health, • Innovative environmental solutions. CEST2021 is academically supported by the University of Salerno (Italy), the University of Cincinnati (USA) and the Imperial College London (UK) as well as a group of distinguished scientists – members of the Conference Scientific Committee. Last year’s event attracted 420 participants from 81 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America, and Australia. The program included over 550 presentations (oral and poster) and covered 28 unique research areas. Participants also benefited from the interaction with 25 distinguished invited speakers who delivered keynote and plenary talks. Established in 1989, the International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology (CEST) is a leading environmental conference where top experts, scientists, entrepreneurs, representatives of public administration and social initiatives present state-of-the-art research on current and emerging environmental issues.
