The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Women Hellas recently welcomed Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) President Angela Gerekou as its Tourism Ambassador, during a business lunch held recently held in Athens.

ICC Women Hellas is an association of women entrepreneurs seeking to improve conditions and empower women in the Greek business sector with the contribution of ICC’s global interconnectedness.

The organization also aims to contribute to Greece’s development by supporting the country’s younger generations.

“Angela Gerekou is a timeless international representative of Greek tourism… We believe in her strength, knowledge, and experience but mainly her passion for tourism,” ICC Women Hellas president Marina Ofloudi Giavroglou said during the event.

ICC Women Hellas also works to support the efforts of women and men, tourism entrepreneurs and employees to confront the challenges of the post-Covid-19 era.

“I am ready to support the many, dynamic women who lead or work in tourism. Together with ICC Women Hellas, we will bring the harmony required for new achievements in the sector, which is the pillar of our economy,” Angela Gerekou said.
