Travelers arriving to The Netherlands from anywhere in Greece do not need to self-isolate, according to the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The ministry’s official advice for travel in the coronavirus (Covid-19) era has changed the color code of the Greek islands from “orange” (only necessary trips) to “yellow” (watch out for safety risks).

The whole of Greece is now in the yellow category.

“Due to the decrease in the number of new infections on the Greek islands, the color code of the islands has been adjusted from ‘orange’ (only necessary trips) to ‘yellow’ (note: safety risks). You do not have to go into home quarantine when you return to the Netherlands if you come from Greece,” the travel advice says.

It is reminded that the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs had placed all of the Greek islands in the ‘orange’ category in early September.
