Low cost carrier Ryanair has announced a new domestic route in Greece that will connect Heraklion (Crete) with Thessaloniki (northern Greece) and offer two flights a week.

According to an announcement by the airline, the new domestic route will commence on December 18 as part of Ryanair’s Greek Winter 2020 schedule and will operate until March 2021.

“Greek consumers can now book domestic flights to reunite with friends and family for Christmas and can further enjoy flying on Ryanair’s lowest fares this winter,” the airline’s Director of Commercial Jason McGuinness said.

He added that with the Heraklion-Thessaloniki route, Ryanair supports the economic recovery and regional connectivity and tourism across Greece.

Ryanair has launched a seat sale at low fares for travel between December 18, 2020 and the end of March 2021, which must be booked by Sunday, November 1, on the Ryanair.com website.
