The measures, announced by Interior Minister Takis Theodorikakos on Friday, will be in force for all offices of the public sector and local administration. – Citizens can access public services either electronically or in physical presence if required only by previously making an appointment. – At least 50 percent of public sector employees will work remotely (teleworking). – Public service departments that require physical presence of employees, will have three shifts operating (7am – 3pm, 8am – 4pm, 9am – 5pm) to avoid overcrowding. All employees must maintain the distances of 1.5 meters between one another. It is reminded that the wearing of a mask in all areas in public service offices is mandatory by employees and visitors.
