Enterprise Greece and US-MAC (U.S. Market Access Center) have launched a program titled “Thriving in the storm” that aims to enhance the export potential of Greek innovative technology enterprises.

According to an announcement, the program will support technology companies in their efforts to enhance their resilience and gain access to the international market. It also marks the strategic plan of Enterprise Greece to develop targeted tools that will help Greek companies of the technology sector enter dynamic markets such as the US.

“After being evaluated by US-MAC’s specialists, 12 companies will be selected to participate in a fast-paced 20-hour program, scheduled to take place in December,” said Enterprise Greece Executive Director and Board Member Betty Alexandropoulou during a recent digital event.

She added that Enterprise Greece will hold more cycles of the program in 2021, offering the opportunity to “as many companies as possible” to reap the benefits of the program.

During the event, Enterprise Greece and US-MAC presented the program to 192 participants – mainly companies of the technology sector.

Active since 1995, US-MAC provides technology enterprises with fast and successful access to the global market through Silicon Valley.

According to US-MAC co-CEO Alfredo Coppola, the program will guide Greek technology companies through new strategies based on the new conditions in order to achieve the successful entry of their products and services in international markets, with a focus on Silicon Valley.

The “Thriving in the storm” program targets existing and new technology companies that offer a fully operational product or service, have already made sales, and wish to promote their products/services to the US and wider international market.

The companies must be active in one of the following sectors: Healthcare/life sciences; computer hardware; mobile technologies; edu-tech, robotics; financial technologies; process automation; collaborations/communications for enterprise data security; e-commerce; food/beverage; nutritional science; computer gaming; and delivery services/logistics.

“The experience of US-MAC, the implementation of the program in several countries and the dozens of successful cases guarantee the benefits for the Greek innovation-technology ecosystem,” Coppola said.

To participate in the program, Greek companies must submit their applications here, until November 30.
