AEGEAN and Olympic Air have announced flight cancellations and reschedules during November 25-27 due to industrial action announced by Greece’s air traffic control personnel and electronic security engineers. On Wednesday, a work stoppage will take place from 6am until 12 noon by the Greek Air Traffic Controllers Association (EEEKE) and from 12 noon to 6pm by the Union of Electronic Engineers for Air Traffic Safety (ENIMAEK). Both unions will go on a 24-hour strike on Thursday. Moreover, on Friday, November 27, the PanHellenic Union of Licensed Aeronautical Telecommunication Officers will hold a 4-hour work suspension from 10am until 2pm. As a result of the work stoppages, AEGEAN and Olympic Air will proceed with the following flight changes and cancellations. We lost holiday time and not offered any compensation . Dub-Ath -Heraklion both ways . Hoping we will hear back as we will travel same next year . We had booked 3 weeks We were flight only and also seats we paid for were changed instead of out seats at the first isle at the front of the plane . Like to fly Agean although not happy this year .
