Based in Greece and founded by Stratos Botis and Aris Pattakos, GuestFlip is an online reputation management platform that helps hotels monitor their reviews from multiple channels including Booking.com, Expedia, Google, TripAdvisor and others. Travelbook acquired GuestFlip’s platform in order to incorporate it in its group of companies through the newly established Guestflip Ltd based in Cyprus. “GuestFlip is the future of reputation management in the tourism industry. It is a unique product which can be used with ease. It offers you the ability to see in just one glance where your online reputation is and what you need to do in-house to further improve your online presence,” said the new CEO of GuestFlip Ltd, Lefteris Sergidis. “Our next step is to further develop the platform and ensure we are providing hotels with the best quality reputation management technology,” he added. New products GuestFlip’s new product, ClickHint, is expected to offer smart response suggestions to hotel reviews that can be used across multiple platforms. ClickHint understands guest comments and produces a relevant response in three different languages, with many more on the way. Another exciting addition will be the social proof marketing widget that allows hotels to showcase the best content posted from their travelers on their own websites. The GuestFlip reputation dashboard combined with these updates will make the daily reputation management of hotels more streamlined by creating a one-stop shop for their online reviews. “I am excited to work with Travelbook. This partnership will allow the product we have developed to remain in the market as we work under Lefteris’ leadership and as part of a larger group of companies with a wider technology offering to help hotels around the world improve their reputation. This synergy will enable us to reach more hotels, constantly improve our product, and grow through the Covid-19 era and beyond,” said GuestFlip co-founder Aris Pattakos who has been appointed Chief Technology Officer in the new company. GuestFlip Ltd has already established office representations in Greece, the UK, USA, South Africa, Bulgaria, Romania, Kenya and Ethiopia.
