Based in Chania, Crete, Uncharted Escapes started offering all-year round premium safari adventures and speed boating tours in 2013. “The company has succeeded in turning every tour into a premium experience, a discovery of the unseen and the unknown, an exploration of local cultures and uncharted lands led by professional local escort-drivers,” an announcement by the Travel & Hospitality Awards said. Uncharted Escapes offers scheduled tours and guests can choose from a wide range of options, from single-day trips to multiple day excursions, group adventures and private tours. “Despite these difficult times, we are proud to have been recognized for the high quality of our services and the unique travel experiences we offer… Our vision is to create unique experiences, tours and products,” Uncharted Escapes Founder and Managing Director Manos Malaxianakis said. Over 4,000 nominations were received for this years Travel & Hospitality Awards. The winners were selected based on the aggregation of reviews from multiple third-party sources, selected by a panel of experts who analyse submission material, review customer feedback and compare the facilities of each nominee.
