RateHawk.com, an online B2B tool for booking hotels and travel services, has announced the development of the first mobile app in Greece for travel agents.

According to a company announcement, the new technology will enable travel industry professionals to book hotels and manage operations from their smartphone. Corporate clients of the service may also use the app, as its functionality enables them to fully organize business trips. The app is available in Greek.

“Mobile technologies are firmly embedded in many spheres of life, making everyday tasks significantly easier. Travel professionals need to be equipped with technologies in order to deliver excellent customer service,” said Felix Shpilman, CEO of Emerging Travel Group which manages RateHawk.

The RateHawk app is available to users on the iOS and Android platforms. It can be downloaded for free in the App Store and Google Play. To start working with the app, one must register in the RateHawk system.

“The new mobile app will simplify the work of travel agents and make it even more efficient by helping them to serve clients at any time and place,” Shpilman added.

RateHawk scans the globe for the best accommodation providers and combines the best offers in the B2B hotel booking world from over 32,000 properties contracted directly and 120 wholesalers, consolidators, OTAs and DMCs in a single product. This approach allows RateHawk to provide its clients with over 1.3 million properties globally.
