Athens Capital Hotel-MGallery to Launch Virtual Art Tours

As of next year, the Athens Capital Hotel-MGallery Collection will launch virtual art tours through videos on social media to showcase its collection of artwork.

In each video, the hotel’s art consultant Maria Migadi will explain the philosophy of the hotel’s collection and indicate the position of each artwork. She will also narrate the story behind each exhibit and the way artists convey the spirit of modern Greek art.

In the meantime, the Athens Capital Hotel-MGallery Collection is introducing its art side to the public through a dance video featuring Greek ballet dancer Elli Tsitsipa.

The video was released recently on the hotel’s social media channels and shows Tsitsipa masterfully balancing on her pointe shoes while dancing to the rhythm of unique Christmas melodies throughout the hotel’s premises. At the same she gives viewers a taste of the Athens Capital Hotel-MGallery Collection hospitality experience.

The hotel’s Christmas tree is lit and the ballerina is dancing on the marble staircase that “connects the past with the present and the future”, and around original works of art that decorate every corner of the Athens Capital Hotel-MGallery Collection.

“Let’s write this… unexpected holiday chapter through imaginary pirouettes and pliés as we look forward to our next meeting, in a 2021 filled with health, happy returns and boundless inspiration,” the hotel’s management said in its message for the new year.

The Athens Capital Hotel – MGallery opened its doors in September 2020, bringing the upscale style of the Accor brand to Syntagma Square in the center of the Greek capital.

The property, which is included in the portfolio of Lampsa Hellenic Hotels SA, is the first ever from Accor’s MGallery Hotel Collection to open in Greece.
