Greek tourism startup Tourmie is among the winners of the 3rd cycle of the CapsuleT Travel & Hospitality Accelerator program.

CapsuleT is Greece’s first travel and hospitality accelerator created by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels to accelerate the launch of technology startups active in tourism. The program’s first round launched in September 2019 and its 3rd cycle concluded on December 18, 2020, with an online award ceremony.

Tourmie, which has developed a digital concierge application that helps accommodation businesses offer personalized services to their guests, was honored with CapsuleT’s second award and a cash prize of 5,000 euros.

The app created by Tourmie connects hotels and accommodation properties with travel service providers by automating the process of receiving and managing visitor requests, expanding their network of external partners, and increasing profitability from guest bookings.

“Tourmie has changed the traditional concierge services by offering improved experiences with direct and online booking services through the comfort of a smartphone. Hotel and accommodation guests can easily discover personalized options for authentic experiences and travel products, as well as explore the hidden secrets of each destination,” the company said in an announcement.

The big winner of the third cycle of CapsuleT was Greek startup Campsaround that won the 10,000-euro cash prize. Furthermore, EV Loader was the third winner of CapsuleT that walked away with 3,000 euros.
